Thank you for booking an appointment! Before we meet , there are a few things you'll need to do.

Intake Form
Check your email with a link to fill out an INTAKE FORM.

Zoom
We will be using Zoom for our Tele-health meetings. You can find the link the the email confirmation of your appointment. Make sure to download or update your Zoom app at zoom.us

Open your Zoom desktop app:

Click settings (the little "gear" icon in the top right corner)

select audio (left side menu)
-
test your microphone level while speaking & singing; If the meter maxes out, lower the input volume.​

uncheck "automatically adjust microphone volume"

click advanced (lower right hand corner)​

click "show in-meeting option to enable original sound"​
-
disable both suppress persistent background noise and suppress intermittent background noise
-
set echo cancellation to auto
-

Open your Computer's sound preferences:

select input
-
uncheck "use ambient noise reduction" (If you have this setting)​

Troubleshooting:

cant hear?​​
-
check the microphone icon; ensure you aren't muted​

chick the ^ next to the microphone icon and select "test speaker & microphone" and follow the prompts

still can't hear or be heard?

join via telephone (just for the audio part); dial the teleconferencing number and enter the meeting ID (both can be found in your invitation ​

Getting ready!

Before you begin, check the following:
-
location: minimalist backdrop, lighting on your face​
-
sound: minimize noise pollution and disruptions
-
bandwidth: close all other programs; make sure others aren't streaming on the same wifi

privacy: close tabs/window that expose personal info
